About

SUSANNE BOSWELL GARDEN DESIGN

Susanne’s passion for gardening has been a lifelong love. Combined with her natural talent and deep interest in design, art, and architecture, she made the decision to change careers many years ago—when her four young children were still at home—and enrolled in a garden design course at Sparsholt College. Back then, designs were crafted by hand with tracing paper and pen!

Her infectious energy shines through in her profound enthusiasm for plants and style. Susanne places great emphasis on form and flow, creating gardens with a sense of movement, layered interest, and beauty throughout every season. Her extensive experience spans a wide variety of styles, including formal and informal gardens, cottage gardens, prairie planting, wildlife-friendly designs in deer- and rabbit-prone areas, woodland settings, streamside plantings, and much more.

With her exceptional three-dimensional vision and expert understanding of how to use space effectively, Susanne now leads a dedicated team of skilled landscapers, tree surgeons, and gardeners. They collaborate closely with her to bring new gardens to life, sensitively edit and enhance existing ones, or provide ongoing professional maintenance.

Each member of the team shares a strong work ethic, reliability, and trustworthiness, delivering the high-quality, personalised service that clients truly value.
