Town Garden

Romsey, Hampshire

When I saw the garden in early Spring 2021 it was overgrown with shrubs, borage and Spanish bluebells yet it oozed with charm and character.

My client was open to ideas -
he knew that the garden wasn't working but he didn't know where to start . . . .

We surveyed the  garden so that we could get a sense of its scale  and designed a new planting plan with roses, penstemons, verbascum and lavenders.

The pergola was designed to inject a contemporary element into the garden as a lift into the 21st Century.
